Who is People Topics for?People Topics aims to solve HR challenges for startups. Our clients have either a very small HR department or none at all. At this stage, companies typically encounter challenges that require strong expertise, but don't warrant a permanent in-house senior HR, yet. For example, we've helped teams navigate compliance, international recruiting, compensation policies, professionalisation of the company operations, and even hiring their first HR person.

What happens to unused support hours?For all the subscription clients, the unused hours included with your plan will roll over to next month for as long as the subscription is active.

When is the right time for the first people hire?We recommend having a part-time or dedicated HR hire before reaching 30 employees. While companies can scale headcount without HR, from experience we also know that this may create a number of unresolved gaps in the company culture and hiring practices, and may need more time and dedicated work to be fixed once an HR person is hired.
